Band Bio

Dharma Road had its humble beginnings in 2000 when Jerri and Vince, formerly of Suede, decided to form a band after a few years' hiatus. Back then they tried several names but none seemed the right fit so for awhile they were dubbed "The No Name Band"Then one day Vince remembered reading a couple of books by Jack Kerouac, "Dharma Bums" and "On The Road Again". They soon decided to combine the two titles and the rest, as they say, is history .... Dharma Road was born!

In June 2002, they hosted their first party at the Brig in Port Dover, Ontario to introduce their new name to their friends and family.

There have been band member changes over the years but each member brought their own unique style to help form the sound that is Dharma Road today!

General Info:

Dharma Road is a 5 piece band from the Simcoe area. If needed we have our own PA and sound person. Our members include Jerri-vocals and rhythm guitar, Marc-vocals and harmonica, Jason-vocals and drums, Simon-lead guitar, Whip-bass guitar and Vince on sound. Our song list offers music from most genres of music so we are able to customize our set list to accommodate the needs of each venue we play.
